What is Job Pursuit? |
Job Pursuit is an annual job fair sponsored and hosted
by a consortium of private, independent Michigan Colleges and Universities. |
Who should attend? |
Seniors from selected schools who are interested
in employment opportunities with a variety of companies.
The following is a list

Madonna University, Olivet College ,
and Spring Arbor University. |
How much does the fair cost and when and where do I sign up? |
Student registration is $10.00. The deadline for registration
is Friday, February 11, 2011. You register with the Career Services office at your respective school. You will be assigned
a number that will identify you to the employers for the day. |
What should I do before I attend the fair? |
You should Research
the Companies that will be in attendance and
target the companies that you want to interview with. |
What do I need to bring? |
Bring plenty of resumes with your assigned number marked
in red, in the upper right hand corner of each one. |

How do I dress? |
Dress professionally, business suit for both men and women. Limit the amount
of jewelry and cologne you wear. |
What time should I arrive? |
Be early, you should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. The job fair
starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. and is well attended by many students
who will be competing with you for available jobs. |
What about lunch? |
Lunch is on your own from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. |
